With over twenty years of experience managing mortgage regions and branches for some of the nation’s largest banks and homebuilders, Matt Fox continues to seek and secure growth opportunities for George Mason Mortgage.  In his current role as Executive Vice President of Business Development, he focuses on recruiting and branch growth, real estate marketing agreements, builder partnerships and expanding Cardinal Bank relationships.  As part of the GMM Executive team, Matt is actively involved with overall company strategy, identifying new markets and general business opportunities. 

Prior to joining George Mason Mortgage, Matt worked for Wells Fargo in the Mid-Atlantic region managing and growing builder relationships.  He was recently named “Associate of the Year” by the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association.  Outside of work, Matt enjoys coaching, volunteer work, traveling and golf.  He holds a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia and is married with three daughters.
