George Mason Mortgage offers many programs tailored to first-time homebuyers.  Our dedicated team of loan officers are here to assist with any of our specialized programs such as the VHDA loan option or the low down payment FHA and VA options.  

DC Open Doors*
The DC Open Doors program is designed to offer qualifying buyers affordable home loans to purchase a property, as well as down payment assistance.

Maryland CDA*
CDA (Community Development Administration) Single Family Housing provides homebuyer assistance programs by offering mortgage loans and down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible homebuyers with low-to moderate-income.

VHDA (The Virginia Housing Department Authority)*
The Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) offers affordable housing opportunities to Virginians who may not otherwise be able to purchase a home.

USDA (US Department of Agriculture)
The USDA program improves rural communities by having specialized lenders ensure loans for multi-family housing units and homes under construction.
