I chose Chad and his team for various reasons, but instead of laying out how I came to that decision, you—the prospective home buyer—are probably more interested in how Chad and GMM actually performed, right? On numbers and costs. Several groups out there hook prospective clients by advertising the lowest hypothetical costs that may only apply to a very small number of clients in the end... in these scenarios, the client signs on, becomes deeply invested as the deal progresses, and then may find that costs are actually higher than original estimates... and now the client is stuck feeling unsatisfied with unexpected price-points and mediocre service. Not so with Chad and the GMM team. Chad’s estimates were not only incredibly competitive, but they were real. Every cost stayed true to [or outperformed] its original estimate. That’s the sign of an honest, reliable, and competitive mortgage lender that has your back and doesn’t spring last minute curveballs.

On service, efficiency, hard work, kindness, and competence. Chad is the stalwart mortgage officer on every level. Professional, hard working, customer-oriented, incredibly responsive (always ready to hop on the phone if I had questions... on weekends, after hours, etc.), kind, wildly intelligent on every single aspect of the home buying process (even those outside of the mortgage process), willing to share knowledge (even on topics outside of the scope of the mortgage team’s concern), clear when explaining convoluted topics, succinct and fast-moving when the client is on a timeline, emotionally intelligent (in understanding the client’s background and level of real estate knowledge), and passionate about your home ownership. Chad never beat around the bush and continues to be helpful today... even after papers have been signed and fees have been paid.
